Men’s Golf Association

The Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is the focal point for men’s golfing activities at Raveneaux. The MGA has an active membership which represents nearly one half of Raveneaux golfing members.
The primary function of the MGA is to work with the Raveneaux professional staff to organize and conduct various tournaments for the members during the course of the year. MGA sponsored events include the Erin-Go-Braugh, Match Play Championship, Member-Member Gold Cup, The Holiday Classic and the Cup Matches. When daylight hours permit, The MGA also offers Thursday Night Men's League as an addition to the list of MGA events. This series of nine-hole competitions with different, fun and exciting formats each week are perfect low-key, informal competitions without too much flare that offers the opportunity to get out after work and play nine holes, and meet new people.
Other functions of the MGA include active promotion of golf at Raveneaux, support for the Men’s Senior Inter-club activities, and monitoring of handicap issues/problems. In addition, the MGA is an important advocate for both golf course and club needs/improvements.
